Frassati Summer Camping Weekend

Frassati Fellowship of NYC invites you to join us as we embark on a summer camping trip! The camping trip will take place on the weekend of July 23-24 at the Marian Shrine in Stony Point, NY. This overnight camping trip includes Mass, Adoration, Confession, prayer, service projects, outdoor recreation, and lots of fellowship around our bonfire! Note that this camping trip will be one night - we will depart NYC early on Saturday morning and return on Sunday evening.

****PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU REGISTER ***

• You are not to leave the camping premises during the weekend, unless an activity has been planned with the group.

• There will not be a "leaving and come back later" option. This is for the safety of everyone. If you leave, you will not be allowed back unless you have made previous arrangements.

• No unregistered guests will be allowed.

• Please bring your own water bottle.

CAMPING FEE

The camping registration fee includes meals for the weekend and the costs of camping at the Marian Shrine.

If you desire to attend the camping weekend but you are experiencing financial hardship, send us an email: hiking@frassati.nyc. Please do not feel embarrassed to ask for help because we understand that times have been rough and we want everyone to experience this weekend. Be assured that any information you share with us will remain confidential.

We encourage those who are in stable financial conditions to sponsor others using the option in the registration.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The Marian Shrine has large open fields where we will be setting tents and having our recreation activities. There is also an indoor chapel that we will use for Mass and Adoration.

Food will be prepared daily. We will be dividing people in teams to prepare, serve and clean-up for every meal.

There are restrooms with running water available at the shrine, but we will not have access to showers for the weekend.

**Please note it will likely be very hot this weekend, and campers should come prepared. This includes proper gear for camping outside in hot weather. We will provide a packing list and are happy to advise any campers on what gear is required, please send us an email if you have any questions or concerns: hiking@frassati.nyc.

TRANSPORTATION

Parking is available at the shrine for those planning to drive.

Every person attending is responsible for their own transportation. However, in the spirit of SOLIDARITY, we will do our best to connect people for carpooling.

If you are planning to drive and you are willing to drive others to the Shrine, please make sure you indicate you can do so in the registration. If you need a ride, please let us know when you fill out the registration so we can connect you with someone.

REFUNDS

please observe the following timeline in order to get a refund if you would like to cancel your reservation.

July 1 by 9PM: 75% will be refunded.

July 8 by 9PM: 50% will be refunded.

July 15 by 9PM: 25% will be refunded.

Cancellations after 9PM of July 15, will not be refunded.
